June 9, 2020 Balance effort with ease

The kids teach me how to balance effort with ease, to do my very best for them and then let it be.

I give what I can and do it with heart, 1am not in control, what I say now, when I start.

The kids are always showing me exactly what they need, they ask me to listen deeply, and reassure me, "let me lead."

It often feels funny, sometimes, scary to trust,

But then I realize their growth is inevitable, it will happen, it must.

Aligning my personal growth with Mothering, the clarity I seek, as it requires my presence, and balancing my effort with ease.

So yes to all the time apart, the breaks and retreats,

But I know deep within this experience of Mothering, lives a stillness, my true peace.
